I'm pretty sure after Feather faked his death they either killed Fire or accepted him. Either way we don't know and it should be kept "Barkmane's pride" until we know for a fact it's "Firemane's pride", If they killed Fire they're either on the stretch or Moonstrike is their mane. If tribble confirms one of these then it's final.
